Learn how to talk through and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic using Logix5000 software in order to locate a “real” faulty input or output device, replace it, and get the process back up and running. It’s all about troubleshooting!
Each attendee will actually wire the input and output (I/O) field devices to the PLC using their own PLC Trainer!

- Ethernet communications set up using RSLinx
- Discuss the BootP utility using an “out of the box” controller to set the IP address and configuration in RSLinx
- Ethernet/IP driver: explain “RSWho views” and RSLinx configuration
- Toggling and forcing real and simulated inputs and outputs
- Timers, Counters, One-Shot
- Compare blocks, First-Scan, Mov/Clr blocks
- Math blocks, Set Bit Zero/Negative
- Jump, Jump to Subroutine, Master Control Reset
- One/two Dimension arrays, Fill File, Copy File, Average File
- Bit-Shift Right/Left, First-In-First-Out, Load/Unload
- Last-In-First-Out, Load/Unload, Masked Move
- Sequencer Output using the Array, Mask, and Output Tables
- Indirect Addressing, Add-On Instructions
