Learn how to talk through and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic using Logix5000 software in order to locate a “real” faulty input or output device, replace it, and get the process back up and running.
It’s all about troubleshooting!
Each attendee will actually wire the input and output (I/O) field devices to the PLC using their own PLC Trainer!

SESSION TOPICS

  • Ethernet communications set up using RSLinx
  • Discuss the BootP utility using an “out of the box” controller to set the IP address and configuration in RSLinx
  • Ethernet/IP driver: explain “RSWho views” and RSLinx configuration
  • Toggling and forcing real and simulated inputs and outputs
  • Timers, Counters, One-Shot
  • Compare blocks, First-Scan, Mov/Clr blocks
  • Math blocks, Set Bit Zero/Negative
  • Jump, Jump to Subroutine, Master Control Reset
  • One/two Dimension arrays, Fill File, Copy File, Average File
  • Bit-Shift Right/Left, First-In-First-Out, Load/Unload
  • Last-In-First-Out, Load/Unload, Masked Move
  • Sequencer Output using the Array, Mask, and Output Tables
  • Indirect Addressing, Add-On Instructions
