Introduction to RSLogix™ 5000

Course Description:
This two day workshop will give the student an understanding of the Logix architecture and programming. RSLogix5000 will be used throughout the two days with the focus being on “hands on labs”. Instruction will cover the basic components of a system and data table make-up. Labs will cover the use of the basic bit level instructions and timers/counters. The student will develop an understanding of how to put a basic ControlLogix system together and how to create a simple program.

Prerequisites:
A working knowledge of computers and the Windows® operating system.

Who Should Attend:
Maintenance or Engineering personnel who desire a better understanding of Rockwell Automation Logix Architecture and programming with RSLogix5000 software. This course serves as a good pre-requisite for the more advanced Rockwell Automation training courses.

Course Length: 2 Days - Classes run from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
