IRS500 - Introduction to RSLogix™ 500 and SLC500
Course Description:
This two day workshop will give the student an understanding of the SLC500 architecture and programming. RSLogix500 will be used throughout the two days with the focus being on “hands on labs”. Instruction will cover the basic components of a system and SLC memory make-up. Labs will cover the use of the basic bit level instructions and timers/counters. The student will develop an understanding of how to put a basic SLC500 system together and how to create a simple program.

Prerequisites:
A working knowledge of computers and the Windows® operating system.

Who Should Attend:
Maintenance or Engineering personnel who desire a better understanding of Rockwell Automation SLC500 Architecture and programming with RSLogix500 software. This course serves as a good pre-requisite for the more advanced Rockwell Automation training courses.

Course Length: 2 Days - Classes run from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
