IPLC100 - Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers
Course Description:
This 2 day workshop is designed for people who have had no experience with programmable logic controllers. The lecture and labs will take the student through the basics of relay control and move them into the world of software control with ladder logic running in a PLC. The student will become familiar with RSLogix500 programming software and the SLC500/MicroLogix family of programmable controllers.

Prerequisites:
This workshop has no technical prerequisites other than being familiar with using a Windows-based personal computer.

Who Should Attend:
Maintenance or Engineering staff who have had little or no exposure to programmable controllers and need to build their understanding of PLC’s and their use in industrial manufacturing control systems.
