Introduction to Motion with RSLogix™ 5000

Course Description: This 1-day “add-on” to the IRS5000 workshop will take students through the basics of configuring a motion control axis in the Logix controller family. Once configured, the student will work through some of the basic motion instructions to command the axis to jog, home, and do absolute & incremental moves. Prerequisites: Introduction to RSLogix 5000 or equivalent Logix experience. Who Should Attend: Maintenance or Engineering personnel who desire a better understanding of Rockwell Automation Logix Architecture and basic motion control. This course serves as a good pre-requisite for the more advanced Rockwell Automation training courses in motion control. Course Length: 1 Day - Classes run from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
