IAT500 - Analog Trending and PID Basics
Course Description:
This one day workshop will give the student an understanding of the analog capabilities of the SLC500. Installing, configuring and scaling an analog input will be a part of the “hands on” portion of the lab. Basic “on off” and PID control will be demonstrated as well with an overview of the RSTrend software.

Prerequisites:
  • This course requires prior training with RSLogix™ 500
  • A working knowledge of computers and the Windows® operating system.


Who Should Attend: Maintenance or Engineering personnel who desire a better understanding of Rockwell Automation SLC500 analog capabilities, as well as PID basics. This course serves as a good pre-requisite for the more advanced Rockwell Automation training courses and can serve as a building block for more intensive Process Control work.
