Kendall Electric has signed an agreement with Paradox Security Systems of Canada.
Paradox Security Systems manufactures state of the art security systems for small to medium commercial and residential buildings.
An international company with 15 years of product development and international experience in the security market, Paradox is now launching in the United States.
Paradox offers 3 lines of security control panels and peripheral devices.
ESPRIT+ The Esprit+ Security System is a 4 to 12 zone system that supports 2 keypads and 2 partitions.
The Esprit+ system also supports zone doubling. The zone doubling features allows two detection devices to be used on one input terminal.
Thus this system can actually expand to 24 zones. The Exprit has a lwo cost entry system, pre-packaged for you convenience.

SPECTRA The Spectra Security System is a 4 to 16 zone security system.
What is unique about the Spectra Series is that it communicates between the control panel and the expansion cards and keypads via a 4 wire communications bus.
This communications bus allows simpler wiring between the expansion cards/keypads and the control panel.
Thus retrofits or expansions are easier. Like the Esprit+. the Spectra is a low cost, pre-packaged system that includes the control panel, keypad, motion detector, battery backup, power supply and cabinet.
DIGIPLEX The third systems is the Digiplex system.
The Digiplex Security System supports 48 or 96 zones. The Digiplex systems are designed for high security locations, such as banks, government, military, or high end residential homes.
Like the Spectra System, the Digiplex communicates through a 4 wire bus to expansion cards and devices.
The 96 zone system also incorporates access control up to 32 doors and virtual zones.
Virtual zones allow the sequencing of control activations without affecting the systems security functions.
This system also supports the award winning Graphics Keypad and Display. The Graphics Keypad provides menu driven alarm activity status via it's large LCD display.
It also stores up to 32 displayable floor plans.
Features:
- All three systems support the Magellan Wireless expansion boards
- The Esprit system uses a DOS based programming application
- The Spectra and Digiplex uses a windows/GUI interface called Winload
- Paradox also offers the technician a hand held plug in memory key which allows a mater program to be made and downloaded to the key
- Digital and Analog detection devices are available
