The MGS Series gear reducers are designed for use with standard AC induction motors, or DC motors, from fractional to approx 150 HP. They are offered in 4 different models with several mounting configurations. C Series (Concentric Helical) or commonly referred to as Inline Helical , F Series (Offset Helical), K Series for Right Angle Helical Bevel, and S Series for Right Angle Worm. The MGS line is also offered with a Food Grade option, which makes it ideal for wash down areas, and other harsh environment.

STÖBER can also mount any Baldor motor to your MGS, and sell as a Drive/Motor package. A three year warrantly is standard, and STÖBER ships in three days or less. If all parts are in stock, they will ship same day upon request, with NO EXPEDITE FEE.

STÖBER also makes a Servo motor gearbox to compliment our existing Alpha Planetary offerings. The SMS is a Helical transmission with similar styles as MGS. C Series is a foot mount Inline with ratios from 2 to 276 to 1 ratios, and torque ratings up to 62,000 in-Ibs. K series is a right angle helical with ratings to 106,000 in-Ibs, and F Series is a parallel shaft unit. Being a servo gear drive, the SMS is much lower in backlash than the MGS. Standard and reduced backlash options are in the 6 to 12
arc-mins range.
