managed switches and Rockwell’s latest RSLogix™ 5000 version. The firmware enhancement allows Ethernet/IP capability, giving you another
means to manage and monitor your network directly through RSLogix™ 5000. Integrate your Ethernet switch directly into the RSLogix™ 5000
I/O tree and then configure and monitor your managed switch. Use this capability to write logic with switch variables or generate alarms
based upon network events.
Enabling and confirming IGMP Snooping functionality is now a snap and you can see the status of your switch through multiple screens. All
switch tags and data are accessible to your HMI. Hirschmann has created six screens which show diagnostics, IGMP configuration, port configuration,
general switch info (MAC address, model number, etc.), and port status.
