| Definite-Purpose Control Enclosures |
|
A new line of Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley definite-purpose control enclosures is designed to save installation time due to the enclosure’s mounting grid, which acts like a pegboard for mounting the enclosures on machinery. The enclosure’s mounting grid was based on feedback from OEMs, contractors and end users and designed to eliminate drilling requirements and reduce installation time.
The line of enclosures includes Allen-Bradley Bulletin 598 general-purpose enclosures, available in 11 sizes from130mmx 80mmx 85mm(5.12 in. x 3.15 in. x 3.35 in.) up to 560mmx 380mmx 180mm(22 in. x 15 in. x 7 in.). Bulletin 598 junction-box enclosures are available in six sizes from 90 mm x 70 mm x 51.5 mm (3.54 in. x 2.76 in. x 2.03 in.) up to 190mmx 190mmx 130mm(8 in. x 8 in. x 5 in.)
In addition, Bulletin 800H push-button enclosures extend the current line of 800T/800H push-button enclosures. They can house 30.5-mm push buttons and are available with one or four holes.
The enclosures can be used in material handling, HVAC, chemical processing, wastewater treatment, food processing, instrumentation, on-machine control and packaging applications.
