Plastic-Coated Shatter
Resistant Lamps |
|
If a Shat-R-Shield lamp is dropped or broken, virtually all glass, mercury and phosphors are safely contained within the skin-tight coating. Shat-R-Shield lamps are USDA approved, NSF certified and meet FDA and OSHA standards. Shat-R-Shield was the first to offer coated fluorescent lamps and the first to offer incandescent lamps with protective TEFLON® coatings.
All Shat-R-Shield lamps are 100% inspected for coating thickness, integrity and lighting performance. Millions of Shat-R-Shield lamps are performing for food, beverage, drug and other industries seeking work site protection.
If a Shat-R-Shield lamp breaks, virtually all glass, mercury and phosphors remain inside the skin-tight Shat-R-Kote coating. Employees, products and work sites are completely protected. Disposal is safe and easy.
When a conventional unprotected lamp breaks, there is a danger of broken glass escaping from the sleeve. During installation and removal of your lamps and sleeves; maintenance personnel, products and the work site are exposed to bare unprotected glass. Disposal requires handling unprotected glass.

Greenlee
Polyline
Greenlee now offers poly line in a convenient 500' package. This smaller size is perfect for use on service trucks where storage space is limited, and it is also very
convenient for directly pulling smaller electrical and communications wires where long lengths aren't needed.
The 430-500 poly line is the same 210 lb. (934 N) breaking strength line used in the larger buckets, and it comes in a tube with a
pre-punched hole for dispensing the line without tangling. The line can be blown into conduit and then used to pull in a larger pulling rope, or it can be used directly to pull in smaller wires.
