The Contractor Quotations department turns paper into opportunity for both the Kendall Contractor
Account Manger and our customers. Their product knowledge and skillful eye turn a ream of blueprints into an organized bill of material,
competitively priced and supported by: alternate submittals, payment terms, freight charges and product availability. Their attention to
detail and take-off accuracy has become a source of confirmation for the contactor that their final job quote will correctly reflect the
materials and quantities specified.
But that is only the starting point. Once the job is awarded and a purchase order is released, the real work begins. The contractor quotation
person who assembled the bid now becomes the project manager, reporting to the contractor account manager and the customer. They will manage,
document and report on every aspect of the job from the initial order, PO acknowledgements, delivery schedules, material releases, workflow
interruptions, jobsite deliveries, change orders and returns.
