Course Purpose:
This course is a skill-building course that provides students with the necessary information and hands-on experience to efficiently interpret, troubleshoot, and recommend a course of action for a Logix5000 application in a downtime situation. This course also provides the resources and hands-on practice necessary to interpret, isolate, and diagnose common control system hardware problems related to noise, power, and digital and analog I/O. An integrated practice of multiple troubleshooting skills completes the training.
Who Should Attend:
This course is designed for maintenance personnel who are familiar with general ladder logic and controller concepts, but who are new to the Logix5000 system. Also, individuals who are responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Logix5000 systems using RSLogix 5000™ software should attend this course.
Prerequisites:
To successfully complete this course, the following prerequisites are required:
Completion of the ControlLogix Systems Fundamentals course (Course No. CCP146)
Knowledge of basic ladder logic instructions (bit, timer, counter, etc.) through a course (Course No. CCCL21 or CCP151) or personal experience
